Brethren:
Last month, we came together to celebrate the holiday season with a wonderful Lodge Christmas Party. This year, we mixed things up by hosting two events: the traditional youth party and an adult Lodge party later in the day. Both gatherings were filled with festive cheer, great company, and lasting memories.
At the youth party, we were thrilled to host the Romans, the Painters, and the Marshals, as well as Job’s Daughters Bethel 66. The highlight of the event was The Magic Man, Keith Heidenreich, who once again amazed everyone with his magic tricks and balloon animals. Of course, no Christmas party would be complete without Santa Claus! Santa made a special appearance to delight the kids and hand out presents.
Later in the day, after the kids had their fun, it was time for the adults to gather for the Lodge party. In attendance were WB Brian Spooner, WB Ted Cutts, the Painters, the Taras, the Birges, Lynette, and myself. The potluck was a feast, with everyone bringing delicious dishes to share. The evening continued with a spirited white elephant gift exchange, where we shared plenty of laughs over the surprises hidden in the wrapping paper. We ended the night with board games, enjoying excellent fellowship and camaraderie.
It was a joy to see everyone come together and celebrate the season. Events like these remind us of the importance of community, connection, and shared experiences. I’m already looking forward to next month’s breakfast in the park, where we can continue to strengthen our bonds and make more memories.
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year!
Fraternally,
Trevor Cutts
