Range Night

Brethren, this year, West Shore Lodge is having our “Range Night” at The Parma Armory (TPA).

We will begin at 5:00 PM on April 24, 2024. Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow TPA employees time to get everyone checked in. Each session is limited to the first 10 to sign up.

A.  If you have not shot at TPA before, there will be a safety video and a waiver to sign, which can be done online at https://www.theparmaarmory.com/

B.  We will meet in one of the available classrooms for a brief orientation.

C.  We have 10 shooting slots available for each session. (2 shooters per lane). 

Slot 1: 5:00~6:00 PM 

Slot 2: 6:00~7:00 PM.

D.  We will begin at 5:00 PM on April 24, 2024. Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow TPA employees time to get everyone checked in. Each session is limited to the first 10 to sign up.

E.  Each 1-hour session is $25.00 and includes firearm rentals and targets and safety glasses will be provided if needed.

F.  Please bring your own eye and ear protection if you have them. Prescription glasses are ok to use. Ear protection is available for $15.00. (32 db NRR muffs)

G.  1 target per shooter is provided and DO NOT include self-adhesive targets.

H.  Free firearm rentals are available if you do not own your own. You must buy TPA ammo if you use one of their firearms.

I.  Rifle ammo MUST be in the manufacturers box for inspection.

THE PARMA ARMORY - 5 STAR RANGE™

1.  Five ultra-modern 90-foot lanes, steel plate stall walls with sound muffling panels, digital target control, touch screen lighting and 100% air exchange every 90 seconds.

2.  If you have your own firearm, you can purchase ammo at TPA if you do not have any. They stock most common calibers. TPA reserves the right to inspect any ammo you bring with you.

3.  Orientation will begin PROMPTLY at 5:30 pm. Please be on time to give the TPA staff time to do their job!

4.  Please bring in either a driver’s license or a state identification when planning to shoot at the TPA Range. Without your ID you will not be allowed to shoot.

7.  ALL money must be turned in by April 15, 2024, for your reservation to be valid. There will not be any refunds for no-shows or cancellations.

Safety and Use Rules

For persons having a family membership it is the responsibility of the “primary” member to ensure that all family members and guests entering the Parma Armory facility are familiar with these Safety Rules and that they agree to abide by them. All persons, while in the facility including when attending open shooting sessions, scheduled shoots, or coaching or instruction classes, shall observe the following range and safety rules to ensure the safety of all participants.

1. We reserve the right to inspect all firearms, ammunition, and equipment
2. Shooters under the age of eighteen must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times
3. No steel jacketed/core/cased ammunition, solid brass/copper ammunition, armor-piercing ammunition or incendiary/explosive/tracer ammunition allowed in the range
4. Ear and eye protection must be worn at all times
5. Firearms are to remain at the stalls at all times unless cased or holstered
6. If you are a novice shooter, it is your responsibility to inform a range employee. This is for your safety and others
7. All firearms are to be empty, made safe, and with the action open while not in use
8. Loaded firearms are not permitted outside the range unless holstered or safely secured in a case/bag and shall remain there while all other areas of the armory.
9. In the event your firearm malfunctions or has any issues with firing properly, leave it in the stall pointing downrange and inform the Range Officer.
10. Do not shoot any other target downrange except for the one directly in front of you at your assigned stall
11. Maximum of two (2) people inside of a stall at one time
12. Under no circumstances is anyone allowed to move across the shooting line. If something falls in from of the shooting line, as the Range Officer for assistance
13. In the case a cease-fire is called, open the action and set your firearm down in the stall, pointing downrange and set back away from the stall
14. Range time is rented in thirty (30) minute increments. Overage is billed in fifteen (15) minute increments. It is your responsibility to monitor your time spent
15. No drawing from the holster. Shooters will be held responsible for damage caused by negligence
16. No rapid fire. You should maintain no less than one second between shot. Rapid fire serves no tactical purpose and it is disrespectful to others renting the range.
17. No head shots. You will be responsible for any damage you cause to the target carrier ($300.00 for shooting down a carrier cable)
18. If you wish to rent one of our firearms, you must use our ammunition
19. Any long gun fired on the range must use our ammunition. This includes but is not limited to: Shotguns, rifles, etc
20. Enjoy your time with us but please clean up after yourself
